Bio

Lisa Villamaria was born in Manhattan, NY and has been involved in music and theatre since her childhood.  She is a proud member of Actors Equity and AFTRA.  Lisa graduated from Rutgers University, Mason Gross School of the Arts with a BM in Voice and has traveled the U.S. and New Zealand while performing. 
 
Some favorite roles include Kim (u/s performed) in Miss Saigon, Sillabub in Cats, Liat in South Pacific, and Dionne in Hair.  She has toured with Miss Saigon as Mimi with Prather Entertainment Group, Cinderella in the title role as Cinderella, as Lucille in Junie B. Jones with TheatreWorks U.S.A, Jasmine in Disney’s Aladdin, and as Joanne in Godspell.  She has sung classically in concerts in New York with Folklorico Filipino at Lincoln Center’s Avery  Fisher Hall and also with the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra with Sandi Patty(‘06-09). Off-Broadway she played the title role in Naughty Marietta, Julia in A Quick Nutbread to Make Your Mouth Water, Hannoi Hannah in Viet Rock, and on T.V. she appears as Rebecca in Poison and multiple characters on CBS’s Guiding Light and Blue Bloods

Lisa also participates often with the Filipino community in NYC as a soloist. She has performed with the Kayumangi Chorale alongside Lani Misenas (coloratura soprano), In-Arte with Miguel Braganza, Reflections, Philipe DeLeon Foundation produced by Cynthia DeLeon, Master Class with Evelyn Mandap, and with MB2 at the Filipino Expo 2008 in the Meadowlands.
